How to Get Fruits in Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley

Here's how to get apples, oranges, blueberries, and cranberries in different seasons in Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley [HoLV].

There are several types of wild fruits you can harvest in Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley. You can get it from the trees with a hammer icon while others have fallen on the ground.

These fruits can be sold, eaten, cooked, or given to the villager.

How to Get Fruits in Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley

When the tree with a hammer icon is fruitful, it will drop some fruit when you hit it with a hammer. But if the tree is not yet time to bear fruit, it will drop some insects.

Those of you who don't know how to use a hammer, just press R1 (hold), then select tools, choose the hammer, and press X to equip it. Press the square button to use it.

Apple

Seasons: Spring, Fall

Locations:

  1. The tree on the right at Goddess Spring.
  2. The tree on the left if you enter Clove Villa from Plaza
  3. Pike mountain, the tree near the road to the mine.
  4. Sacred land, the tree near to the water fountain.

Apples can be harvested after 5 days.

Blueberry

Seasons: Spring, Summer

Locations:

  1. Sacred land, the tree on the left of the stone.
  2. The tree behind the mound of earth in front of Ronald's shop.

Blueberries can be harvested after 5 days.

Chesnut

Season: Summer

Location: Plaza

Chesnut can be harvested after 3 days.

Cranberry

Seasons: Summer, Fall (starting from Year 2?)

Locations:

  1. The tree on the left of the Goddess Spring.
  2. The tree next to Cafe/Bar.
  3. The tree located at the bottom of the Clove Villa.
  4. On the ground in the Sacred land (starting Summer)

Cranberries can be harvested after 5 days.

Full Moon Berry

Seasons: Summer, Fall

Location: On the ground, near the tree to the left of the Bar/Cafe building.

Full Moon Berries can be harvested after 3 days.

Orange

Seasons: Spring, Winter

Locations:

  1. The tree on the right of Katie's room (Cafe)
  2. Pike mountain, the tree in front of you if you enter the area through Woody's Carpentry
  3. Sacred land, the tree on the right of the stone

Oranges can be harvested after 5 days

Very Berry

Seasons: Spring, Summer

Locations: Plaza, Sacred land, Clove Villa, Cafe, Goddess Spring, etc.

Very berries can be harvested after 3 days.

Walnut

Seasons: Summer, Fall

Locations:

  1. The tree in front of the Bar/Cafe
  2. In the Goddess Spring and Woody's Carpentry
  3. The tree next to Clove Villa
  4. The tree in front of Woody's house

Walnuts can be harvested after 1 day.

Trivia: Actually, Chesnut and Walnut are types of nuts, not fruits.
