All Recipes, Ingredients & Cooking Tips – Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland Guide
Cooking is one of the most enjoyable features in Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. It lets you turn simple farm produce into delicious dishes that can boost friendships and even unlock special events.
But before you start whipping up meals, there are a few things you need to know.
First, you have to upgrade your house to get a kitchen. It costs 10000G!
Once you have the kitchen, you’ll get access to three cooking utensils:
- Frying Pan
- Pot
- Oven
The kitchen also comes with a refrigerator, where you can store food and ingredients to free up your bag.
How to Cook
Here’s how cooking works:
- Stand in front of the utensil you want to use and press the X button.
- Select up to 3 ingredients from your bag.
- Press the Start button to begin cooking, or the O button to cancel.
- Press the Select button on an item to view its description.
Note: Ingredients must be in your Bag. Items stored in the fridge won’t appear in the recipe menu until you move them.
