The most annoying thing about playing Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is the use of rapidly depleted energy. This game is very very dependent on energy, so you do not need a long time to run out of energy.

You need the energy to perform a number of different actions in the game. When you do more things throughout the game, you need to spend more energy and you have to get or wait for it to recharge over time.

Energy can also be obtained by purchasing it with real money from in-game purchases. In addition to this, there are a number of different ways to get energy for free.

Waiting to Gain Free Energy

Energy will be refilled after waiting over time, you need at least 4 minutes to gain 1 point of energy.

Simply by turning off the game or letting it run in the background, your energy bar will slowly recharge as time passes.

This is the most basic way to get energy when you run out of it. But it can also be the most frustrating because you need to wait an hour to play again.

Free Energy from Completing Missions

You have a choice for the type of reward you receive when finishing some missions. You can choose to get Crystals, Coins, or Energy every time you finish a large mission.

Free Energy in Hidden Locations and Objects

There is an instant way to get energy. Usually, there are hidden objects that can be interacted to gain energy by tapping them.

Here is the list of locations and objects you can interact to gain energy.

• East Towers: The first painting to the left of the first door.
• West Towers: The second painting next to the bathroom.
• Lower Floor - West: The fire pillar to the right of the Great Hall.
• Dungeons: The house elf near the kitchen wall.
• Castle Grounds: The branch of the tree you will find it with a scroll to the right.
• Lower Floor - East: Several books on the bench.
• Hogsmeade - The person at the very back of the first alley.

There are probably more places where you can get energy. Once you know it, maybe you'll take it all. However, there are some things you should know:

You can not get more energy from your maximum energy. So, do not collect energy unless your energy is running out.

You must gather energy before class or mission start. Because once you start a class or a mission, it will not be stopped.

You can not constantly collect objects to fill the energy. You have to wait some time to collect it again.
