How to Get All Power Berries - Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley Guide

A lot of you have been searching on Google for how to find Power Berries in Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley, so here’s a complete guide to help you out!

Just a quick heads-up: you can only get 5 Power Berries in Hero of Leaf Valley. The method to find them is quite different from Save the Homeland, although one of them is obtained in the same way.

Requirements to Find Power Berries in HM: HoLV

Before you can find all 5 Power Berries, make sure you’ve met the following conditions:

• You have the Ocarina.
  If you haven’t gotten it yet, you can buy it from Louis’s shop.
• Your dog has at least 3 hearts.
  This is important so your dog can follow your commands. However, even at 3 hearts, it can still be tricky to get the berries—so it’s better if your dog has 4 hearts or more.
• The Harvest Sprites have at least 2 hearts.
  Increasing their friendship level will help trigger some of the events related to the Power Berries.

All Power Berry Locations

Power Berries are hidden underground in various locations throughout the map. To find them, bring your dog and use the Ocarina in Search Mode.

How to Use the Ocarina:

Hold the R button → Open Tools → Select Ocarina → Hold down the Square button + Down + Left + Up.

Now that you're ready, head to these locations and start searching:

• Pike Mountain Area
  At the top of the stairs and/or in the center of the area.
• In Front of Ronald's Shop
  Behind the mound of earth, between the trees.
• Plaza
  To the left of the Flower/Item Store sign.
• Lyla’s Flower Bed
  On the left side of Lyla’s shop.
• Cafe/Bar Area
  Near the tree in front of the building.
• Clove Villa
  Near the tree at the top of the stairs.
• Goddess Spring
  Between the two trees in the center of the area, close to the bridge.
• Woody’s Carpentry
  Near the center stairs and/or near the stairs on the right-hand side.

Your dog will bark if he finds a Power Berry or another hidden item.

Keep in mind:

• You can only find 4 Power Berries using your dog and Ocarina.
• Not every spot guarantees a Power Berry — you might find Pontata Roots instead.

How to Get the 5th Power Berry

Just like in Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland, you’ll need to build a good friendship with the Harvest Sprites to earn the final Power Berry.

Eventually, a special event will be triggered: the Sprites will ask for your help to find Flak, who’s been missing for quite some time.

With the help of your dog, you’ll be able to track him down. A few days after the rescue, the Sprites will reward you with a Power Berry.

📝 Note: This event is automatically triggered when you leave your house — as long as you've met the required conditions mentioned earlier (like building friendship with the Sprites and your dog).
