Your wife will pregnant 15 days after the wedding. So, if you married on Summer 15, Year 1, your wife will pregnant on Summer 30, Year 1.
After Hanna announces the pregnancy, your wife will ask you to select the gender of your baby. You can select a Boy or a Girl.
40 days later, your wife will give birth to her first baby, the gender depending on your preferences before.
You will also get the Hello, Baby! memory and Hanna will give you a formula for making baby milk and a rattle. Make sure to feed your baby formula milk and play him/her a rattle every day. If not, he/she won't be growing up.
30 days after your baby was born, there will be a scene in the morning where your baby can crawl.
30 days after your baby could crawl, there will be a scene where your baby can walk. You will also unlock the first steps memory.
30 days after your baby could walk, there will be a scene where your baby says his/her first words (can talk). You will also unlock the talk talk memory.
30 days later, finally, he/she grow up completely. In this condition, you no longer need to feed him/her milk because he/she can live independently. But at least, play with him/her with a picture book your wife gave you.
Brief Timeline
- 15 days after the wedding ceremony, your wife will pregnant.
- 40 days after the pregnancy, your baby will be born
- 30 days later, your baby will learn to crawl
- 30 days after that, your baby will learn to walk
- 30 days later, they will learn to talk
- The last 30 days later, they will grow from a toddler to a mature child.
In total, you need 175 days after marriage in order to have a baby to mature child. This is certainly a very long time and probably can make you tired of waiting.
How to have a second child in Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories
Your wife's second pregnancy will occur 7 days (1 week) after your first baby had fully grown to a mature child (could walk and often in the town, or you had earned I'm a Big Kid memory).
The gender of the second child will be the opposite of the first child. If you have previously chosen a boy, then the second child will be a girl. While the next process is almost the same as the first child.
Your child's profile has been created from the beginning, the birthday of your child is 2 seasons after your wife gets pregnant.
Their favorite gifts are bread, fish dishes, and some vegetables. While the gifts they do not like are all spicy things.
